Local SEO Gold Coast

Local SEO for Gold Coast businesses

When a customer in Southport, Surfers or Robina needs a plumber, a table or a physio, they search and call one of the first names they see. If you are not in that shortlist, the job goes to someone who is.

I'm Caleb. I run Local SEO Specialist from Coomera. I help local businesses show up in Google Maps and local search for the work they actually want, not sit in an agency queue.

Are Gold Coast customers finding you, or your competitor?

Most owners already have a website and a Google listing. The problem is not "having a site". The problem is losing the tap to the business that showed up first.

The map pack is where the calls go

On a phone, people look at the map, read three names, and call. If you are not in that set, you do not get a chance to quote. Local SEO here is mostly about winning those map-pack taps and the local results under them.

Suburb searches ignore thin national pages

Someone looking for an electrician in Nerang does not want a generic Australia page. They want a business that services Nerang. Thin copy that says "we service all areas" does not win that search. Suburb intent has to show up in the profile, the pages and the listings.

A half-finished Google Business Profile costs you taps

Wrong categories, missing services, old photos, no review habit, hours that do not match the door. That is how a half-finished Google Business Profile loses the tap to a competitor who did the unglamorous work.

Based on the Gold Coast (Coomera)

I live and work here. The advice is about how people actually search in this market: suburb names, "near me", after-hours jobs, and the map pack on a phone.

Real address, not a title-tag location

I'm based at 2/6 Spirula St, Coomera QLD 4209. You can look that up. This is not a capital-city shop that adds "Gold Coast" to a title tag and hopes it sticks.

Specialist, not a 40-person agency queue

I'm not an agency. I'm a local SEO specialist who works with you directly. You talk to the person doing the work. The longer story sits on About.

Where this work applies

I work with businesses that service the Gold Coast. I will not pretend one page owns every postcode, and I will not spin up a farm of thin suburb URLs.

North, central, coastal strip, south

Typical coverage colour:

  • North: Coomera, Upper Coomera, Oxenford, Helensvale, Hope Island
  • Central: Nerang, Robina, Bundall, Southport, Ashmore
  • Coastal strip: Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid, Miami
  • South: Burleigh, Palm Beach, Tugun, Coolangatta and across to Tweed if that is where you already take jobs

We match the suburbs you already service

If your vans run from Coomera down to Burleigh, the profile, service areas and pages should match that. If you only want Southport and the hospitals around it, we stay that tight. I do not invent extra suburbs to make the site look bigger.

What I do for local SEO here

Here's the work. Each item has a full service page if you want the nuts and bolts. Below is what it means for a business based here.

Google Business Profile and the map pack

Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing a customer sees. I set the right categories, services, service areas, hours and photos, and I keep the listing consistent with the site. For a tradie that might mean emergency hours and the suburbs you actually attend. For a clinic it might mean the treatments people search before they book.

Local citations and NAP consistency

Local citations are the directory listings Google uses to check you are a real local business. I get the name, address and phone consistent, including the Coomera address where that is the legal base, and I clean up old listings that still show a home garage or a moved shop.

On-page and technical foundations

On-page SEO means each service page answers the search it is meant to win. An HVAC page aimed at this market should talk about the climate, the job types you take, and the areas you cover. It should not read like a brochure copied from another city.

Technical SEO is the unglamorous bit. The site has to load on a phone on the M1, get indexed, and not hide the click-to-call button. If Google cannot crawl it, the copy does not matter.

Keywords and location-specific pages

Keyword research here is suburb + job, not a national vanity phrase. "Plumber Coomera", "best cafe Broadbeach", "accountant Robina". I map the searches that turn into a call, then we pick a small set of pages to win rather than stuffing every suburb into one block of text.

Local link building

Link building for a local business should come from places that make sense: local suppliers, industry bodies, sponsorships, community sites. I do not buy junk links. I will not claim a made-up domain score.

Reviews and reputation (process, not fake scores)

Reviews are how customers decide between three pins. I help you set a simple ask-for-review habit and keep replies current. I will not sell fake reviews or invent a rating.

What's included when we work together

No package price here. Here is what the work actually contains.

Monthly work on the profile, pages and listings

Each month I work the Google profile, the pages that should rank, and the listings that contradict each other. That is the unglamorous loop that keeps a campaign moving.

Live dashboard and direct access to me

You get access to a live SEO dashboard so you can see rankings without waiting on a PDF. You talk to me. No ticket system.

Timelines without guarantees

I will not promise a map-pack date. After the audit I will tell you what I would fix first and what a fair wait looks like for your suburbs. A clean profile in a quieter area moves faster than a thin site fighting every plumber from Coomera to Coolangatta.

Claim Your Free SEO Audit

I offer a free site audit and honest advice. No hard sells and no fluff. Just real strategies, backed by experience.

How the work runs

Five steps. You always know what happens next.

01

Free site audit

You send the website and the suburbs you care about. I look at the listing, the pages, the citations and the obvious technical issues. You get honest advice. No hard sell.

02

Priorities

We pick the smallest set of changes that would actually move calls. Usually that is the Google profile, a handful of service pages, and the listings that contradict each other.

03

Monthly implementation

I work the campaign myself. Profile updates, page copy, citations, links and technical fixes stay on the calendar. They do not sit in a junior's queue.

04

Reporting via live dashboard

You do not wait until month-end to find out what happened. The dashboard is there when you want it. If something needs a conversation, you get me, not a recap slide.

05

Cap of 20 clients, no outsourcing

I keep a hard cap of 20 clients. I do not outsource. Every audit, brief and report comes from me. That is how your campaign stays visible on my week, not lost in a book of 200 accounts.

Who this is for (and who it isn’t)

I work with tradies, clinics including dental practices, professional services, childcare, hospitality and gyms across the Gold Coast. If you want more local calls and bookings, get in touch.

Fit if

Already take jobs locally and want map pack/local results to match; want to talk to the person doing the work; can give site + GBP access and reply for photos/reviews.

Not fit if

Want a 40-person agency and a slide deck; want guaranteed first-page rankings in two weeks; only want paid ads and no organic work.

If you do not see your business type listed, get in touch anyway. If I think I can help, I will. If I'm not the right fit, I'll let you know.
